Meetings and transcripts
Video calls with clients and the team, and a transcript of who said what that you can download.
Open Meetings in the dashboard, give the call a title, and pick the website it's about if its clients should join. Share the invite link. Your team and that website's approved clients sign in and join; nobody gets in with the link alone.
How the transcript knows who spoke
Each person's browser records their own microphone, cut into short clips at the pauses between things they say, and stamps each clip with when the speaking started and stopped. So every line has the right name without guessing from one mixed recording, and the conversation is put in order by time. Silence is never uploaded.
Clips are transcribed while the meeting runs, so the full transcript is ready a minute or two after it ends. The page shows each line with its speaker and time, and you can play any line to hear it.
Download
- JSON: the meeting, the speakers, and every line with speaker, start and end time and text.
- Text and Markdown:
[0:12] Name: what they said, one line each. - CSV: one row per line, for a spreadsheet.
- SRT and WebVTT: subtitles with the speaker's name.
Good to know
- Everyone sees that the meeting has a transcript before joining, and joining means agreeing to it.
- Only the team can read and download transcripts. Clients can join the call but don't see the transcript.
- Headphones help: with speakers, someone's microphone can pick up the others.
- Audio clips are kept for 30 days; the transcript stays.
- Plans include transcript minutes each month (see Pricing). Only time someone is talking counts. When they run out, meetings still work without a transcript.
