For clients
What your client sees and how they leave feedback. You can send them this page.
Get in
- Open the invite link the team sent you.
- Sign in with Google, or create an account with your email. It's free.
- Your request goes to the team. When they approve you, you get an email.
- Open the website from your EkhaneMark page and press Sign in on the small card at the bottom. A dark toolbar appears at the bottom of the page.
Leave feedback
- Press Comment (or the C key on a keyboard).
- Click the part of the page you mean: a button, a heading, a picture. To point at empty space or a whole region, press and drag a box instead. On a phone, tap.
- If you picked something too small, use the names at the top of the box (Page › Section › Card › Button) to choose a bigger area.
- Write what should change. You can also record your voice (up to 3 minutes), paste a picture with Ctrl+V, or attach pictures and files with the paperclip (or drag them onto the box): PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, slides, design files and zips, up to 10 at a time, 10 MB each.
- Press Post.
A pin with your initials appears on the part you picked. A screenshot of what you were looking at is attached automatically; password and card fields are blacked out.
See what's already reported
Pins show earlier feedback. Click a pin to read it, and press Reply to answer the team right there. The list button in the toolbar shows everything on this page and on other pages, with a search box.
When something is fixed
You get an email saying the change is ready, with a link straight to it. On the site, a blue button above the toolbar says how many fixes are waiting for you (“2 fixes to check”); press it to jump to the next one. Look at the page, then click Looks good: the feedback closes and its pin disappears from the page. Or click Still broken and say what's still wrong; it goes back to the team.
Questions from the team
Sometimes the team needs to know more. The pin turns purple and you get an email: open it, read the question at the top of the pin, and answer. Your answer goes straight back to them.
Your EkhaneMark dashboard
Sign in to EkhaneMark and Projects lists the websites you review, each with where its feedback stands. Open one for a board with the same stages the team works in: New, In progress, Question for you, Check the fix and Done. If you also build websites yourself, your own workspace's projects are on the same page, with the websites you review under Sites you review. Press Looks good or Still broken on a fix, or answer a question, right there. If the team invited you by email instead of a link, create your account from that email; you're let in straight away.
Click a card to open it: what you wrote, the screenshot and files, and its history, which lists every reply and every status change with who made it and when. From there you can write to the team, or move your feedback to New, In progress or Done yourself (on the site, the same is in the ⋯ menu of your pin). The change is kept in the history with your name, and the team gets an email. Questions and “check the fix” stay the team's to ask.
Privacy
A link alone never shows anything: you always sign in, and only the team you work with sees your feedback. On the live site you're signed in for one tab only; press Sign in again next time. The team can remove your access at any time.
